Day 3: Counting the Cost of Knowing Christ
Money & Me — Week 1
"Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ." — Philippians 3:8-9 (ESV)

Paul had the resume. Educated. Connected. Respected. He had everything the world says makes you secure. And he called it all garbage compared to knowing Jesus.

That's not motivational fluff — Paul actually lost those things. He wasn't theoretically willing to give them up. He did give them up. And his conclusion wasn't regret. It was "worth it."

Here's the challenge: most of us say Jesus is worth more than money. But what does your calendar say? What does your bank statement say? What does your anxiety say? If you stripped away your financial security tomorrow, would you still be standing? Paul could answer yes. Can you?

Prayer: Jesus, I want to say You're worth more than everything — and mean it. Show me where I'm still holding things in higher value than You. Amen.

Reflect: If you lost something financially significant tomorrow, what would it reveal about where your real trust is?
